The fight started when Benvolio and Mercutio met the capulets. Though Benvolio and Tybalt were not interested in fighting each other, Mercutio was very angry and wanted to fight. However, Tybalt only wanted to fight Romeo, who came afterwards. Though Romeo tried all ways to convince Tybalt that he did not want to fight, Tybalt insisted that he stop being a coward and fight back. Furious, Mercutio challenged Tybalt to a fight, since Romeo was not willing to. When the two men started fighting, Romeo tried to stop them. However, they ignored him and continued. Romeo told Benvolio to take his sword out and help him to stop the fight. Romeo came in between them and tried to stop them. However, that gave Tybalt a chance to attack Benvolio. He stabbed Benvolio and ran away after that. Yes, he was not repentant at all after killing Benvolio. Instead of helping him up and trying to save him, he ran away together with Sampson and Geogory. He was not guilty at all for Benvolio's death. Instead, when Romeo said that another one of them was to join Benvolio's death, Tyblat clained that it was Romeo. ♥Paris |
